YES.

The trouble is, my evidence is all anecdotal. I love laser boats. Sometimes I think I've had an amazing game, and have rubbish damage. Sometimes it's the opposite. It seems to vary depending on the time of day.

It's odd, and all I've been able to narrow it down to is HSR. When it works, it's GREAT. I can aim at lights, and actually HIT what I aim at. Other times, I have no chance, and have to resort to leading. Takes me back to the pre-HSR days of leading between 1 and 4 mech lengths to score hits on ravens.

Devs are aware of this issue. They're working on a fix, but it could take some time. I managed to catch the issue when firing at a stationary mech while ping was at 255ms. I got cored after firing 8 LL shots at point-blank range and my score readout showed that I had done about 120 damage.

Hi SirLankyIII ,

I would suggest adding a reply to the Telstra crowd support thread that you started.

OH YEAH. Did they do the same thing to you that they did for me? They disconnected my phone contract, bacause I hadn't paid my bill. Only I had. After being forced to pay the bill (again) they then discovered that it was indeed their fault. I then had to pay a reconnection fee, after which they informed me that they could not reconnect my phone for 30 days, because "that's just the way the system worked". They then refused to refund any of the free money I gave them, because it was "lodged as a dispute". 12 days later, still no progress.

Called the ombudsman, provided some details, he told me he'd call me back once it was sorted. 1 hour and 22 minutes later, all was well. Turns out the ombudsman is a badass.

The moral of the story is THIS - homer, if all else fails, call the ombudsman.

Every time an Ombudsman is involved and the telco is at fault they get slugged $5k. Use this great power sparingly.

It doesn't seem necessary, at least not for me. Since Saturday my ping as returned to normal, almost better than, since I've been getting pings as low as 240ms, which is slightly better than I was getting before the move. So if you're still having problems maybe pm jon (network dev guy) and see if he has any updates since I can only assume his persistence with telstra is the reason it's been fixed for some.
