Have anyone noticed that Thunderbolt silhouette from Tuesday and Wednesday pictures looks different from artwork (artwork doesn't "fill" the silhouette like it was with Shadow Hawk) - there weren't big pauldrons, torso was smaller compared to legs. Also Tuesday's Battlemaster silhouette is notably different from todays: shoulders were lower, long PPC barrel on right arm was lacking, left arm was larger, legs slimmer.

Tinfoil hat time.

It is a consipiracy I tell you.

Or you may remember that the Phoenix versions for pre-order only are in fact going to look different than the stock versions sold to the unwashed masses.

Damnit! <puts $300 tinfoil anti-radiation beanie bought online from reputable website back in the safe>

Dunno about the Thunderbolt, but the different BLR outlines could be different variants. I think the one that is the (P) version should have the gun on the arm like in the second pic, right?

Its not a conspiracy. It is standard practice for a concept artist to make 3 to 5 similar designs of a product with different features. Then, the artwork is sent to focus groups to determine which artwork was liked the most. Most likely a random concept art of each mech was chosen for the silhouette, and the team at PGI voted on which concept art they liked the best, and thats why there are small differences between the silhouette and the revealed artwork.

For the Battlemaster it almost looks like the PPC and machine gun arms get switched in the two pictures.

maybe they realized the PPC was on the left arm on the first draft? Though for the most part, the first profile looks more interesting to me.

It's only last minute as far as the concept artwork goes. As we've seen time and time again, the concept art is close to what the finished product will look like, but ultimately it's only a guide.

You forgot that the Thunderbolt silhouette had different hands too. The originals all had weird claw hands like the Shadow Hawk, now they don't.

I support Banshees. Gimme a 5S. Oh wait, that's a canon PPC/Gauss spammer. Oh the QQ.

It will be the Charger, FireStarter, Banshee, and the UrbanMech. All mechs well known for being nigh un-killable except by Kryptonite core shells encased in Adamantium jackets fired from the Space Battleship, Yamato.
