Now, before I start this, I understand I have no say on what you do with your money. This is merely a question to make you think about where you put your dollars.

Before the mods get upset and remove this thread because I am being critical of PGI, please understand this relates DIRECTLY to the development of upcoming features.

I understand PGI has expenses to keep the game going; servers, Russ and Byran's salary and the all important caffeine intake fund.

After all those expenses are covered we have the development dollars, this goes towards everything from the art department, new merchandise (mechs and other novelty items) to actually development of the core game features.

Based upon their past, I can only assume that PGI is not allocating their funds wisely, i.e $500 mechs, massive time delays in development and launching features without adequate QC.

I can also only assume that their are people increasing their debt to support this game. IMO people have lost the meaning of money, especially within the gaming community. Take a look at SC for proof, close to $40 million on a game still in development without so much as a alpha yet, excepting the hangar module.

With all that said, do you feel your money is being well spent in the development of this game and the addition of future features?

I just skimmed it because I don't see anything good coming from this. But I did want to point out that once you make a purchase it is no longer "your money" it is PGI's. It is not a tax after all.

That's true, but whether or not you give them "your money" should be an informed decision, no?

Not an upcoming feature discussion.

Not a discussion we are in any way capable of making, as we lack all information on how the money IGP/PGI are making is spend at all. So all everyone can post is, at best, an opinion.

Egomane, I am truly disappointed, this is an honest issue with this game that relates directly to development of the future of this title.

Opinions yes, but opinions are what run society in all aspects.

Pure speculation will not come to a conclusion to the question asked in the title. All it will do is create another heated argument if PGI is the right developer for MWO or not. We have plenty of those threads already and most at least pick a topic that has some information floating around, like game mechanics, development time or store prices.

Here? We have nothing! So this whole thread is nothing else but flamebait.

Is someone paying you to be an agitator or are you truly this flipping bored? :P

I've dabbled in the game development industry via 3D content contracts, have had lengthy exchanges with numerous developers regarding the operational costs of development and I cannot even begin to wrap my mind the operational costs associated with the development of MW:O and support, implementation and maintenance of their server hosting center.

It seems you've got it in your bonnet to do nothing but kick hornets nets for no flipping reason other than to incite discourse...

And there is the beauty of what this game is based on. The Free-to-Play model. If one doesn't feel the monies are being well spent, well then, don't spend it. There are plenty of players here, that have enjoyed playing it without ever having spent a dime (thus, no expectations). There are also players here, who have been disappointed, and have stopped spending. The remaining player base, are spending their monies on already completed elements, with the exception of the upcoming Clan Mech Packs (artists, not game development). Nowhere, is their a button to click, to donate monies toward future development, ie CW, game modes, or even toward server expenses. That ideal ended when the game came out as full release. This question would have been better asked, at the end of Closed Beta.

"Please delete my No Remorse account.

I no longer wish to support PGI in any manner.

I was very excited about this title when announced and had supported it as a founder back in closed beta.

I do not believe PGI has lived up to their own promises and continually disrespects their community. I take this action as my only way of communicating my displeasure to them.

It pains me to do this, but I see no other option."

Just sent this to support.

This should answer your questions.

I really doubt at this point that it pains you to ask for an account deletion as all you do is troll.

Not to point out the obvious... but if you stop posting / participating in playing the game... you effectively "go away". No need to over-dramatize and belabor your desire to be disassociated with MW:O by requesting your account be deleted.

To that point you've done nothing but talk out both sides of you gob-smack by inferring how concerned you are with the future of MW:O, yet at every turn you you make concerted effort to take a back-handed swipe at PGI / MW:O and or issue some thinly veiled ruse to incite discourse...

I can't quite put my finger on what your attempting to achieve with your shenanigans but it's pretty flipping clear it's not with the best intentions of the this game nor the community.

He said it himself more than once DaZur, hes a troll... he has no purpose other then to make himself feel better by trying to get us riled up. He is not trying to "achieve" anything other then getting a cheap laugh.

I'm sad to see that No Remorse has left us. People call him a troll but I knew him very well and he really did care for this game. I have had some amazing drops with the man and had hoped he'd continue playing. I'm sorry to narco this thread but it's a really sad day and I wish I had known as I would've tried to ask him to take an extended vacation as we all see PGI is in a much different place and hopefully has the chance for a lot of upswing.
