Pretty silly to let us donate, with no use to begin with. I do hope they take care of the issue for the OP.

If I were to guess, I'd say there will be an optional tax system for units down the road. More money in the bank at the start of that means lower taxes later!

Investing in the future is something all people can benefit from...

Because knowing 1st grade "3 over and a comma" is OP? You are an adult, you have no excuse!

Using Commas with Numbers

Commas can be used to make reading numbers a little easier. They are placed every 3 decimal places for numbers larger than 999.

Examples:
(Do not put your own commas in reference numbers or years.)

  • Serial number 1654880 was destroyed in 1984. Posted Image

A frustrating part of this forums is that it still has some real jerkwads on it.

The fellow has repeatedly eaten humble pie, consistently refers to himself as making a dumb mistake and has done something to show his unit how much he appreciates and values the membership of that unit and individuals, over and over again, are trying to show how witty they are and how toxic only they can be.

Funkadelic doesn't even realize that not everyone uses the 3 digit comma notation, nor that it matters. Everyone has made an error at some point in time. If any of you who are being such hindquarters has never made a mistake in your life, then fine... immediately ascent to heaven, but if you know what it is to do something and feel that feeling of "damn... how did I do that" ... you'd have a little empathy.

Leave the behavior for places like redit or whatever it's called and other troll troves and please think about doing something positive with your time. Being smarky online doesn't make you anything or anyone important.

Redbull didn't give me wings! False Advertising! There was not a warning that the coffee was hot! PGI ate my baby! More warning labels that I won't bother to read! My joystick is locking up when I play MWO and because of that, I think I should get c-bills added because I would have performed better had it been working. Reading is Fundamental! Yes, I ordered the salmon but now that I have it at my table, I am unhappy with the selection and would like you to comp my bill.

This is exactly what is wrong with modern society.

Don't mistake poor UI design for human stupidity. I feel for you OP.

Edit: So there are commas?

Nope only cost me time. Plus if ppl who buy packages and want refunds get them back why not this mistake?

A: They gave you an "are you sure?" box.

B: Packages are real world currency that can be used for other things. (Unexpected bills if necessary.)
It has more potential reasoning behind doing so. IRL Currency may have unexpected needs. MWO Cbills will not.

Let the poor bloke (heheh - poor) have his virtual money back. Only thing is, this sets a bad example - especially if PGI gets too swamped with support tickets.

Tough bind.

Indeed, That is precisely why they give you an "Are you Sure?" confirmation box (complete with commas) so they do not have to deal with crap like that.

Well then I clicked past that to fast. Putting it in had no commas. I said I screwed up, still would like it reversed.

edit: screw that, come to think about it that window was just added, when I did it It went straight to donate.

I have given him benefactor status in our company, but seriously PGI let's make this right! I have also sent support tickets that are not showing in status.

Sorry OP, hope they resolve this for you.

Even though there is the confirmation message, there is a confirmation message for everything in the UI, and it's easy to get into the habit of clicking through things without intending to do so. I can understand how one might have accidentally done this.

Good luck!

Just talk to your commander so that you won't have to pay donations for the next 10 months as you already did so in advance. Problem solved.

If you try now they are gone, you don't have to donate to see that.

edit; commas show on confirmation but not initial entry.
