Could we re-visit the visuals on Forest Colony, it is very dark despite being the middle of the day.
I had something like this in mind.
Take Forest Colony from This.
To this.
Thank you for your time.

didn't matter back then if it was hazy or not, all you had to do was turn heat vision on and you could see someone anywhere on the map

Is it still working? I'm going to re-install it as soon as I'm home.
Forest colony should have a more varied color palette because everything is too greenish and grayed out. The fog we currently have is a bit unrealistic too. The top right image is really nice imho.

Exactly, everything in this game is kinda greyish and everything blends into everything else.....its hard to spot mechs standing in front of buildings from any kind of distance, and heck, ive been staring right at mechs around corners and not known it till they moved..

No reason to be snarky. Sweetfx is not the answer.
The problem with SweetFX (and similar tools like ENB) is thatits really only practical to get one color setting going, but as each map uses a very different pallette its extremely difficult to make them all look better. I find you get a couple looking awesome, and a couple looking like crap, no matter what you do.

Having said that - I would support a shift to the lower image.
