Haha. I was just in that match with you, in a BJ1.
That was a good match. Totaled a heavy, crippled 2 more, and dropped an arti on a Warhawk, scattering two of their lances. Fun stuff.
I think I actually got points for that. I logged in and looked at my profile, and had 14 points towards the challenge. That match with you was the first Conquest I'd played today.

And even though the rewards are extremely underwhelming, I'm just happy they're still doing weekly challenges. It's great for the game, keeps things fresh. Seems like every weekend, the gameplay changes slightly (sometimes massively) based on the challenge. It's not always a good thing in the end, but change in itself is good, so they just need to come up with challenges that don't make the solo queue a nightmare.
Seriously though, I'd rather take three colours, three mechbays or 3 days of premium time, rather than these cockpit items.
EDIT: And it would be nice to see more lore-based events, rather than "Halloween challenge", "Columbus day challenge" and "World pancake day" challenge.

I actually think it's one of the more appealing challenges, seeing how you can compete in either the group or solo Qs.

Well, when the rewards are of no interest to me, that doesn't really matter. If you really want some more cockpit items, I guess you're in for a treat.

Hard to argue with this point... I've yet to see a Cockpit item that I would actually use within my Mechs.
Free PT is always nice though.

I see your meh, and raise you some more meh.
Also:
- Kill = 1 point
- Assist = 2 points
- Spot = 2 points
- Tag assist = 2 points
- Narc Assist = 2 points
- Victory = 3 points
about 10 winning games would be my guess

I finished about an hour ago (took 2 hours to complete). Took me 10 matches, which was 7 wins and 3 losses. Points can accumulate VERY quickly in wins... my 4th game was 11 assists, 14 spotting assists, 0 tag, 0 narc, and of course the win. 53 points in one game. That was in my Maddog Prime with 4 x LRM5, 2 x LRM10, and 4 x ERML.
Worst game was 6 points... 1 assist and 2 spotting assists.
