You wouldn't even really need to make any new ones, you could just sell "special edition" versions of the already in-game items that grant different boosts.

If you're looking for more micro transaction bait, cockpit items that boost your C-bill, 'Mech XP, or GXP earnings would probably sell like hotcakes. Even a small (5-10%) boost would probably make 'em attractive.

+1 for this and/or the ability to "Heroize" any mech you own.
