Really liked the tip about using the testing grounds to check out your Mech. I just started doing that a few weeks ago. Helps me keep in mind what weapons will produce heat. Or if I need to put a group of weapons on chain fire instead of firing all at once.
Have you done a tutorial about the battle map yet? If not, you may want to put that on your list.
