Really??!!?? A blue and white font?? SMH you Devs.. Smoke some more of what ya got and post it in game... We would never know.. Wonder why? CAUSE WE CAN NOT SEE IT!! Even the drop down menu I can not read.. WOW.. And you get paid?!.. SMH..

i have no clue what your referring too. not saying there isnt a problem but a screen shot would be nice.

possibly because you didn't see it, too

I think he refers to the blue text messages ingame when you get rewards like kill assist and so on. those used to be near the chat window "box" but are now more or less centered in the lower part, mostly over some cockpit parts. and the font is now blue and rolls down.

So why it looks cool, in some cockpits it is really hard to read, especially in a tense situation.

Actually, i can read it quite good.
Maybe a few of you have Problems with colors overall?

For me it depends on the mech I'm in and what map I get. Sometimes it's good to read, sometimes not.

Fact stays, some of the players (=customers) have a hard time reading something in the game.
This is the same with the tiny font in mechlab. Many people can't read it because it is soooo tiny...

And you can't talk that away like russ did, because when sitting directly infront of a 4k monitor without problems there can't be issues with readability for other people.

For example, I play on a 40" LCD (fullHD) but I'm 1-1.5 meters away. Now try to read those little words... on top of the tiny font there's those nice things like white steam and smoke behind a bright yellow font, that don't help either.

Settings - Game .. change "reward display mode" from "Modern" to "Classic" .

If it's the size of the text that's bothering you, try tweaking your screen resolution?

Personally I quite like the new UI elements, if only they would display for a little bit longer, sometimes miss information when there's a lot going on, but hey, whatever floats your boat, man.

Yes that is true and a valid point.
Sorry, because of the OPs outrage i forgot to make my own point.
Which is: you are right. Dosen't matter the reason but if you can't read it it has to be changed.
I am all for Color options for the HUD.

I didn't at first, because "BLAARGH SOMEONE CHANGE SOMETHING AAAAA" but i'm used to it now, and prefer it. Don't have to press tab to see if it's the baddies paying me out.

well the only thing not so suite dis the light blue in the /t and dark blue for teammates in /all being both blue.

Thank you all for your comments.. I was not aware there was a way to switch back to the older font.. I was never a fan of the original font either.. I suppose it's because I play on a 17" lap top.. I would be happy with a fluorescent green or red for the in game chat and cross hair.. Kinda like most military HUDs..
