Started a similar poll over in the Marik forums, and got some interesting data results, so I'm kind of curious to see what results the other houses get. So, guys, how do you feel about the different weight classes of mechs?

This can't be right. Your avatar says Marik, but your poll says Steiner.
Really, I'm a disgrace to House Steiner, I suck with assault mechs, and generally prefer to use light or medium mechs.
I actually scout in a light mech. Heresy.

Come join us in the Free World's League, then! We generally avoid assaults outside of situations that specifically call for them, and we prefer the lighter classes, with a strong emphasis on Lights and Heavies. You'll fit right in!

LOL Not always the case my friend but I think the Steiner high command would disagree, so I stand corrected. By the way, I also saw that poster with that slogan on it too.

I find myself loving light and med mechs more then the other classes. Nothing like running full speed making a complete stop and seeing the Lasers zoom right in front of your screen to make you feel alive. Taking on bigger units is so much fun. I bearly made it work in the order games cause well it was normally the bigger gun wins but hopefully when MWO comes out, it will be as balanced as they said it would be

Light mechs for running errands, medium to catch light mechs running errands and assault for every other situation. I fail to see where heavy mechs fit into this picture...
