


Fun Free Roam Camera Bug

This happened yesterday and was a fun bug. This was the free roam Camera PGI wanted to introduce, well after my game crashed and I rejoined back in I got to witness it fist hand

WOW! I'd want that sooo much if it wasn't for the obvious problem of exploit...

Actually you can't tell who's who in that camera unless you memorized paint schemes and mech load outs for your team before hand

It's very easy to identify your own group: you know what mechs your group has, you know where your group is (TS), and often, though not always, units run the same camo. Exploit is a given. But that's awesome to look at nonetheless.

Do what League of Legends does. Allow players to observe a game in progress, on a 2-3 minute delay.

They should have it enabled when you join solo queue, after you die you can enable free cam but can no longer chat if you do.

I don't see why that wouldn't work. Such a fun way to watch the rest of the game play out after you die, and really appreciate the work that went into some of those maps.
EDIT: Actually, I suppose Synch-Droppers could still exploit that. But I figure if people are douchy enough to synchdrop, then they're probably not going to die intentionally just to get a free roaming unkillable scout, though, once they die naturally...
