Lock target that nearest to crosshair
When player have choice between some targets it's better if closest(not by meters distance but by screen distance from center of this target to center of crosshair) will be chosen after pushing "lock target" button.

Indicate ECM mechs
Indicate our and enemy ECM-mechs on minimap with other type of icon(or some color elements).
Also it can be great if their range of ECM will be shown too.

Improved chainfire
Example: I have a mech with 4 ER LARGE LASERS at right "hand" and it's great if you give me opportunity to set their chainfire:

2 LASERS shot together
then
other 2 LASERS shot together

Easy. Rationally. No heat penalty.

No jump distance
Do not show jump distance for mechs that can't be equipped with jump jets.

added: Improve weapon doors indication lights
On Mining Collective map it's OK but on other maps it's too dim(STALKER).

Doesn't it already lock the nearest target you're looking at?

Also, I don't quite follow on your chainfire logic. Why not just group your weapons seperately then?

I already do this. Put all LL's in one group on chain-fire and when you want to fire click the button fast twice, pause, then click it fast twice again.
If you have them on chain-fire they will fire slowly if you hold the button down, but you can click repeatedly to fire as fast as you like.

I mean nearest to center of my hands crossfair not nearest to my mech.
Because my mouse has only 2 buttons.

OK but for me just pressing one key is better. Clicking of mouse buttons is the reason of crosshair leaps.

Id like to see direct target locking commands (subject to having a full dorito of course) such as;

CTRL+A locks onto Target Alpha whether it is on your screen or not
CTRL+B locks onto Target Bravo
CTRL+C locks onto Target Charlie
...etc.

It would make things MUCH easier when someone is calling targets.
