Title:
[BUG] Colors in Camo Spec screen randomly show a $ sign when selected (related to "INVALID" Mech Bay issue?)
Description:
Since this last patch, I've had some really quirky things happening in MechWarrior Online. I added a video to demonstrate how sometimes $ signs will appear on unowned colors, but there is a random aspect to which colors cause the $ signs to appear and/or disappear and how many $ signs it will trigger. The video is in 720p and can be set to full screen on YouTube - not sure about when linked into a post. I'm not enough sure if the $ signs are supposed to show up. In the video, if you watch the first color from the left, you'll see what I mean by random. When I select it at 0:10 it triggers 2 $ signs to come up when none were showing before, then at 0:21 selecting it causes all $ signs to clear, and sometimes clicking it didn't change anything.
I ran repair tool and uninstalled/reinstalled, same issue. Repeatable each time I go in to Camo Spec, just completely random which colors will trigger on and off. It also happens in other colors, I just happened to clip this section out of my stream when I happened to be playing with "Blues". I also have the "Invalid" showing up in the Mech Bay randomly as several others have already reported, and I notice the same orange background behind the $ sign as the "Invalid" has in the Mech Bay.
Location:
Camo Spec screen while previewing color options
Reproduction Rate:
100% but it is random as to which color will trigger the $ sign on or off, and how many show up when it triggers them on
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Select a mech in the Mech Bay
2) Click "Configure" on the mech
3) Click "Camo Spec" from the left menu options
4) Select Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary (can be replicated on all 3)
5) Select a color then change to another color
******** At this point, there seems to be a very random chance it will show $ signs at all or not. However, in my testing I have found a method that has triggered the issue 100% of the time so far. If you select a color you own first, then use the dropdown menu to choose a sub-category of colors, you will either see an unowned color with the $ sign already or you can select a color that you do not own to get the $ sign to trigger.
I have also noticed that, for example, if you choose Primary and replicate the issue then leave an unowned color as your selection, you can then choose Secondary and the issue gets more erratic - the first color selections trigger most often when selecting an owned color then selecting an unowned color, but the second color selection is much more random as to changing from any color (owned or unowned) to any other color) Of course, this behavior occurs regardless of the order of your selections in #4 above.
In my video, you can see that I had already set the Primary as an unowned color, which caused the completely random behavior in the video to occur. If I had posted a video of me setting the Primary first, the $ sign is more likely to appear when choosing an owned then choosing an unowned, but can occur randomly - just at a miniscule rate. When setting the second color, it gets very random with the $ sign appearing or not. And if you take it a step further and set the second choice to an unowned color, then go to the third option you will notice there are some unowned colors that will always show a $ sign and some unowned will display the $ sign randomly. It gets more prevalent as you progress from Primary to Secondary to Tertiary with unowned colors as final selection.
