So, with the 21st coming up and therefore the shiny new reward mechs being, well, awarded. I just noticed that the queue times are going to be something along the lines of

Light: 12%ish

Medium: 50%ish

Heavy: 14% ish

Assault:24% ish


Not going to lie, if those are the queue times I'm going to laugh so hard, as I think most people, myself included, are going to be like ''SHINY NEW MECH, MUST USE!''

Anyhow! What do you think the queue times will be? At least for the first hour after the patch or so.

P.S. and let's keep this between you and me, this is just suppose to lighten up the forums from all the complaining about op clans and lrms.

I think you underestimate this forum's love of all things crab. I reason the breakdown on release day will be like this:

Light: -15%

Medium: 1%

Heavy: 3%

Assault/King Crab: 111%

Likelihood of matchmaker meltdown: over 9000!

Hmm, I think the heavy queue will be a bit bigger than that, at the expense of the lights. Otherwise, I think you're right.

More Adders and King Crabs mean less ECM Lights and D-DCs. I am going to rake in a lot of C-Bills using my Lurmers.

Ha... figures. I deliberately altered my original sentence from "Oct 21st" to "release day" so people would not correct me by stating the KC releases on the Dec 16. And yet, not a word is written about how those statistics I posted are impossible even though they do equal 100%.

When the Nova hit for c-bills we had high medium queue approaching 50%, so high medium queue full of Stormcrows is likely.

Light: 6%
Medium: 24%
Heavy: 30%
Assault: 40%

Medium will be close to heavy, lights will take a hit as many play the Cent. I don't see assaults going down, but going up a bit for the Atlas.

As for the Storm Crow, that will probably be my first Clan Mech. I've got the C-Bills saved up. Well, then again, the Timber Wolf is right around the corner...hmmm.

I always use these times to play what is the least favorite.

I'll park my mediums when the stormcrow comes out.
Once Timbergeddon start when the timby comes out for c-bills, I will probably grind my light or assault mechs.

are you kidding? A lot of people consider the Centurion their ultimate "ground n' pound" brawler.

It should be refreshing to have more IS mechs on the field rather than the MurderCrow/TimberGod/DireWhale spam we currently have.

"A lot". Seen a cent in a game last time in 2013. If nobody wants to run it today, why would they want to run it in a week?

I am. They seem like they shouldn't work but they really do. I recently pulled my YLW out of mothballs and ticked nearly 800dmg in the first round. She continued to deliver good damage and a higher number of kills in relation to said damage.

Also, I see Cent's fairly regularly and the majority of times I've looked heavies/assaults have had a higher % in the ques.
