OK, I am not trying to get another thread about what game mode is best and why if you disagree you are a **** that should uninstall the game, that stuff is old.

One would think that the "losers who destroyed the franchise" and the "Bullspit that IGP and PGI pull on us" and 'lack of game content" don't forget "Stop, its just another PGI money grab" were doing something wrong.... yet these complaints are in game, IN GAME....

DON'T BITE THE HAND THAT DEVS FOLKS!!

I challenge every one of you plying this game to do one simple thing... ON THIS THREAD.... tell us something you LIKE, what is COOL, and GOOD, and YAY about MW:O

Yes I said it, let get ONE SINGLE THREAD WHERE DOWNING THE GAME BECAUSE "WAHHHH IT ISN'T CATERED TO ME" can stay at the front door, not wanted in here though, thanks...

It brought back Mechwarrior, hoooah!

Also, one of the rare shooters on the current market where shooting intelligently is more important than twitch reflex

And yes, Alex did a miraculous job updating the Battlemech designs for the modern era

Didn't go so well.

I actually like the mad dog. He needs longer barrels, but that is about my only complaint.

I like how this game attracts all sorts of people to the forums. From civilized people who discuss the merits of various aspects of the game, to those who insult a large group of people within the first sentence of a new topic.

MW:O the great melting pot of the internet.

Oh, and Robots!

Yeah, Mad Dog, I feel could use longer guns, as could the warhawk and the Torso could be a tiny bit longer. I get its for hit boxes and stuff...but still

Otherwise, I think game models are pretty amazing.

The recent MM changes seemed to have helped, though ive only played 2 games with it, they were closer games, lasted awhile and seemed to be a bit more of a game and less of a lol 12-2 curb stomping in under 2 minutes....

I like the designs of the mechs

I like that it brought me into this rather awesome franchise

I like that the gameplay is fun and solid, if a bit rough around the edges

I even like the forums. It always gives me a little chuckle seeing someone still beating their wardrum :P

I love all the little things they have done right, like AMS toggle, power down, unlocked arms, heat shutdown override, tag and missile bay doors toggle.

PGI isn't trying to please those on the forums, it's only a tiny fraction of the hordes of casuals that 3PV brought in and retained. I mean hell some people do expect people to live up to what they say when they are selling something. Some people don't like being told the CW is only 90 days away when it's not being worked on. Damn those people who aren't just willing to forgive anything as long as it says Battletech.

The game is fun. It needs tweaking, but it's certainly a fun game-- a favorite even.

I think the game plays fantastic. Me and my family have been playing mechwarrior since the first mecwarrior game. The sounds design helps, but the flash of lasers and spam of autcannons hasn't felt this good in a decade or two.

What? Is that why you never see anyone outside of a trial mech use 3PV for longer than a few seconds? Come on now, I would be REALLY surprised if influx of players did even raise in any detectable amount at all after the implementation of 3PV.

It is the only iteration of Battletech that really, truly captures that tabletop experience. The guns hit like they should, the mechs fight like they should, there's all sorts of little intricacies and quirks that make each mech subtly unique.

MW3 was close, but it just doesn't compare mechanically to MWO. I'd eat my left leg for a MW3 remake with MWO's mechlab, controls, and gameplay.

Sarcasm clearly wasted on some folks... ;)
