When I choose exit from login screen the application closes sometime properly, but in most cases I have error message of game crashed and have to kill process in task manager. Is there a way to close game firmly w\o such ritual? I've tried Alt F4 - same result.
I'm using W7 x64, run MWO as admin, have more than enough RAM, nVidia ti 750
any idea what to do?

Try running the repair tool? Possibly delete your MWO user folder to rebuild settings (this wipes out custom controls, graphic settings, mech fire groups, but nothing you can't set up again), possibly reinstall. Before you do the latter 2 options, you should email support@mwomercs.com for any other easy steps first.

Thanks, TheCaptainJZ, I did most of this except re-installing. My thought was if the issue is common and there is some workaround. So, means I still need investigate more on causes.

I have a build similar to yours. Fairly often it locks up when I try to exit and I have to kill it in Task Manager. I thought it was a common thing.
