Sometimes it is the fault of the person that was TK'd.
You know the ones I am talking about, they like to run in front of you as you are firing, or they see a wounded enemy being focused fired on and run in to face hug that mech hoping to steal a kill.
These griefers and poor players do not need another tool such as this added to their arsenal of poor game tactics.
If the TK was deliberate they can always report and let PGI review.
If it wasn't deliberate then the person that did the killing should simply announce they are sorry and it was an accident.

I would like to see this "forgive" command, even just as a way to say: I acknowledge **** can happen, no problems.
On the other hand I would not oppose increasing penalties for TKs.

I have had the HUD bug (more than my fair share IMHO). First time I was on teamspeak, so my team was able to help direct fire. I have had it in solo queue as well. Then, I just stay with my lance and fire on their targets. When separated, I fire on anyone who fires on me. Sucks, but usually can avoid team damage. Friendly fire is part of the fog of war: 10K penalty is minimal.

10K C-Bill penalty isn't even a slap on the wrist. It should be 100,000 C-Bill penalty. At least now that that bug where friendlies do not have a blue triangle on them is fixed.

Yes, one time my buddy in a Commando ran in front of my AC/20 as it was firing, and I blew his head off. Because it was a friend, it was hilarious. So these things happen. I'm not convinced it is deserving of development time, however.

I kind of wonder how frequent TKs are and if support could somehow replay a sample of them each day. I think a lot go unreported and a lot that are reported can't be investigated.
