This picture is unrealistic, because the mech is clearly on the ground and the RT is still intact.

As a Hunchback pilot, I finish a lot of matches on the ground with my RT intact.

My favorite and best mech is my founder's HBK-4G and I, too, say that plenty of matches end with the AC/20 still operational. The HBK gets a bad rap in general, but after piloting it for many many hours/years, I can say there are tricks to it. Mostly it's developing a sense of when to engage and when to avoid engaging, and of course you need to twist all around to protect that hunch when you get caught out in the open. The HBK-4G isn't a front-line brawler, it's a lurker. You avoid the thick of the battle and you creep out, drop an ac/20 round right where it matters most, and you fade away before somebody can knock your 20 off line. And the new perks for the 4G will only make it better at that role!
