Speaking of the Victor, I really hope that they aren't serious about the 9K variant being T1 after the agility is restored. The 9K is the sub-par variant of the bunch, so it could use at least some minor quirkage (are there even any meta-compliant builds for the 9K?). The rest however (9S, 9B, DS) are accurately rated at being T1.

Gauss + PPC actually runs better on the 9K due to better arm movement, and in theory you can put more JJs on it.

Dragon Slayer gets better convergence with that due to closer hardpoints, and can sword-and-board (use whole left side as a shield). 4 JJs on the DS is more than enough, those extra 2 on the 9K are a placebo more than anything.

It's getting tiresome waiting to be on equal footing again in clanwarrior online. The MM has been especially bad lately at stacking clanners vs mostly IS with stomp after stomp after stomp.

Youre not SUPPOSED to be on equal footing with the clans

True, but of the non-hero mechs, it has an advantage that way, AND vs the DS, you get arm movement on all weapons, if that's what you want.

Wasn't saying the K was the end-all be all Victor, just pointing out it's positives.

I used to love my K till the Gauss nerf.

I'm grinding new Cents in solo drops...not having a hard time with it at all....killing plenty of clan mechs too

But it is so oversized!
And outclassed by the Shadowhawk (or Griffin!)
And the Clans are so OP!

The un-nerfed Victor will do just fine against clans. The main advantage the TW has now is its more maneuverable than the Victor.

The Shawk and Griffin did to IS Mediums what the Daishi did to IS assaults, but I maintain that, with good piloting, the Centurion can still excel in any match. I got into them- only the C-Bill variants, of course, and not only are they cool looking, but they tank like a champ under any fire. I outscore everyone in the match - Doomcrows, Daishi, and all - with an alarming 10% frequency, and I don't owe it to extreme experience.
The Centurion's shape, even if oversized, is its best aspect, and its huge shield arms and multiple torso-mounted weapons make up for a lot. Shawks and Griffs tend to have better flexibility in role, and are simply better in all statistical fields, but this gap can be accounted for with superior pilot use of the particular shape of his 'mech- a factor which is all too often overlooked.
