Just remembered another story. My buddy is from Oman and he's the youngest son of the second largest tribe in Oman. FYI, Oman is among those filthy rich middle-east countries, not those "Allah akbar + IED" ones. Usually he's the happiest man around - I mean, his government pays his tuition AND living expense AND guarantees a job when he finishes his degree, go figure. And he f**king HATES America, mainly because one time he was detained for a full day, and the only reason was because a cop driving by thought he looked "suspicious".

I've been in the states for four years now. It's a great country in many ways, but the trigger-happy-retardation of its police force and alike is not one of them.

I as an American, would wear that on a shirt... on more that one occasion Ive had people stop on the street in front of my home to inform me I can not fly an American flag vertically... I told them "Go buy your own damn flag, or try to fix mine and get shot.".

What planet / country are you from?

I know people who have accidentally brought hunting knives and ammunition in their carry-ons -which were never found- And I have heard numerous stories from military folks who have brought explosives in their carry-ons as well - (mostly) by accident- and managed to fly both to and from their destinations without being pulled aside, only to find what they had been carrying with them when they unpack at home.

The TSA is in all honesty, a bit of a joke.

I can honestly say it is not like that where I live - though it may be headed that way due to the sheer amount of openly and actively brain dead people we have had move up here recently.

But then - I'm living out "in the middle of nowhere" and EVERYONE knows "Alaska is a foreign country."
