Raising the armor/internals for specific mechs is great, but if the mech loses that weapon to crits just as fast the extra internal dont help as much.


Ex: The TLW gets better internals for the AC20 arm. How about raising the item HP for AC20's for that arm as well as part of the internals buff.

They have quirks that reduce damage or crit to components in the location or something. That's what those bay doors on the catapults and centurions do.

Russ said those will be removed. However he also did say we'd be getting a piloting skill to replace pinpoint that makes equipment as a whole more robust and resistant to critical hits.
