Interesting twist on the weekend events. I'll probably reconsider purchasing my first clan mech, the Stormcrow.

Too late now, but I'd suggest for future events like this to require everyone who wants the discount to play a minimum number of matches during the event. I think 5 would be a good number to start with.

Thanks! Its nice to see you using special events to bolster participation. In the future, will you please have some events for skirmish? It appears with the last couple of events you have posted, that it seems to be getting the short end of the stick. I'm beginning to think you hate it.

Ok, lets see here...

according to http://mwomercs.com/...elease-schedule , the Stormcrow will not be available for C-bills until Tuesday, October 28th. The sale will be ending on Oct 24th. So, if I'm reading this correctly, Shadowhawks will be available for the discount on both the MC and C-bill prices, but the Stormcrow will only get the discount on the MC price because it will not yet be available for C-bill purchase.

Just an observation.

Edit: I have been corrected. The Adder was released on the 7th, so the Stormcrow will be released on the 21st. Cool beans.

Wrong. Look again.

The release schedule doesn't give any actual dates, but the Stormcrow comes out for C-bills 2 weeks after the Adder. The Adder came out for C-bills on October 7th, which means the Stormcrow goes for c-bills on the 21st. The same day the sale starts.

I don't think we're quite on pace to reach the goal of 50%. The math suggests we'll be assured @ the 35% goal, or realistically the 40-45% goal. The 50% goal is a stretch, but someone would have to capture the day 1 (24 hours) worth of the scoring to properly validate it.

Edit:
If we're not @ 150k points by the end of 24 hours (30k past the 40% mark @ 120k), then 50% sale opportunity is a really long stretch goal.

I think 45% is pretty much a lock. We're on pace to hit that now, and the last 3 hours don't exactly fall under "peak play times."

50% off might be difficult to hit, but as you said we'll have a more realistic picture after the first full day.

Yeah, maybe if it was 75% for 450k people would push for it, but almost doubling the requirement for an extra 5%, not gonna happen.
edit: almost 5000 pts an hour now, maybe if we hit 7-8 during peak hours...

As 5:07 PM EST, the score is 20025.

So, over 4 hours, we are averaging slightly above 83 pts per minute (used a base of only 240 minutes instead of 247).

At the current projection, we are getting to 358560 (45%), well short of the goal of 50% (450k+).

Let's hope North America primetime will increase this dramatically.
