It's worst on the new Mining Colony map - the light reflection/specularity is way too high in the cockpit on the metal items. It washes out the mini map display until I turn off the cockpit light. Some others have an issue as well, but Mad Dog is the worst.

As an alternative, can the cockpit light setting be a toggle so it can be globally turned off?

Greetings,

I normally select the 'period' as a start button at each match, it's become a normal button push now.

- Yes, I would like this to be a toggle on or off outside the match.
- Currently there is no requirement for the monitor lights to even be on.
- And your correct, on the night maps they are rather blinding. I'm not even sure how some Pilots operate through those night maps with all that additional light?

Now that being said, I operate with 3 monitors and those extra lit monitors and glare are filling the 2 side monitors. Actually they block some of the side windows, just who decided that was a good place to position them?

Again, yes to a 'off' selection outside the game. Why do we even need a four level light setting, especially if the items have no current purpose.
