Give the Jager-DD AC2 +Range, +RoF, and -Heat quirks.

Or you can troll and give the DD machine gun quirks, but then I will hire a Mongolian shaman to cast a spell on your tailbone.

The choice should be clear. :ph34r:

I like to see the side armor increased 50% or the side hit boxes decreased in size as i remember they used to be. Using a XL engine in a jag is a death wish.

I don't want ac2s on my JM6-DD thank you very much.

I suppose, as long as we are making "preferred build wishlists", Russ, LB-10X and MG buff for the DD, thx!

Still running a 2.44 KDr with my XL Jager. May not be "leet" but hardly feels like a death wish.

I would love to see the JM6-S get to AC2 and AC5, and AC2s/ Ultra 5s for the DD. I think I might shed a tear of joy to see a Jagermech used as a pin down, fire support, unit over a Jagerbomb or Gauss Sniper.

As long as Jagers never get any quirks revolving around Gauss, I'm happy.

Jagerbombs are fine, considering they have to be in your face and are paper thin.

I don't think the needs of a T3 mech will be served very well by making it better at using a bad weapon.


Thankfully it also comes stock with UAC 5s.

Well... look at the bright side. Running 2 ac2's and 2ac5's on the Jagermech's is actually still affective if you manually chain fire the two arms. Then it feels like a direwolf is slamming into you... Yes, Dire Wolves actually run from me now that I switched back to my Jager with this build.

Problem though which pgi should address... Ghost Heat should technically not affect 2 ac2's OR 2 ac2's & 2 ac5's ever.. But I assure you if you manually chain the two so you are firing at a constant rate, the ghost heat will, after a few seconds, suddenly kick in and exponentially increase. It's awful and, according to the lack of warnings in the mech lab, shouldn't happen.

Fix It

And I agree with OP that ac2's need a bit of ROF increase. As it stands, they aren't that useful. (except mixed with ac5's...) BUT! It's not something that most people will care about.

UAC5 quirk should be included on top of the AC2 quirk. Everyone wins.

Why not a magically decreased crit slots and tons for ACs on the Jagers? Then you can quad boat AC10s and troll around blowing the crap out of everyone.....

Ive actually always wanted to do that on a jager or Rifleman....quad AC10s and nuke the world......it only worked on a Black Heart in MW4 Mektek...which btw, I thought was a cool ass looking mech....whats it about? /google Black Heart mech....off I go to find out.

The removal of Ghost Heat on any weapon by itself would be a HUGE buff.
