simple idea from a simple man take mining collective and turn off all the lights .

i know river city right? no with my idea there are no lights sources, except the

stars above but they don't effect anything. heres the special part the only way you

can see is with night vision or thermal. see simple tell that wouldn't be fun or at least

a challenge.

Night vision (not MWO's but real night vision) requires light to see. It amplifies light but it needs light.

Thermal.... if the map was given some truly thermal background.. would be pretty wild though.

I want some search lights on my mech.

Thermal brings me to 10 FPS....that wouldn't be very fun.

thats why said star above for nv but not enuff to really see by but u get it

and search lights on mechs that would be sexy as ****!

I 2nd that, sure I got a an older PC that can barly get 30 FPS even on low setting but thermal kills it for me and for that reason I hate frozen city.

then use night vision and my pc is 5 yrs old and works fine

I know Night Vision and Thermal were gimped to discourage sniping, but it's really annoying that Night Vision has an arbitrary vision cut off.

I dislike MWO's tendency to make it hard to see things, especially since radar is super unreliable with ECM. I like that radar requires LOS, and I would even tolerate the power and the glory that is ECM, but PGI's stupid effects make it a pain in the rear to see your target.

Oh well, at least PGI is trying to improve the game.
