UACs if double tapped will cause ghost heat if the cycle is short.
example 1 UAC , 2 UAC-10s or 2-3 UAC-5s if double tapped = ghost heat
Is there a way the UAC can be used in the correct # not to have all this ghost heat?
I understand using too many cause GH but I am referring to the cycling causing it.

All the more reason for Ghost Heat to just be removed from the game. It creates more problems then it fixes.
I can only imagine what would happen if 2 IS UAC/20s did not trigger Ghost Heat when not double tapped.

Why should dakka whales be buffed? I don't agree with this complaint. Suck it up.

Just wondering if the UAC could be addressed and shorted the ghost heat trigger from .5 secs to .2 secs

They would probably have to do something like they did with IS AC2s. Make the game will let you double fire faster then 0.5 sec.

A temporary work around would be to use a macro that doesn't double fire faster then 0.5 sec.
An ingame way to program how chain fire fires weapons would be a great option to get rid of the reasons to use macros.

It could be fixed if it started giving AC/20 style ghost heat when you spam the crap out of them.....
