This is not present until 3053, but it doesn't hurt to bring it up anyway, especially if they ever jump around in the timeline. I'm not really sure where we are right now anyway.

It basically weighs 3 tons, ocupies 8 slots (one in each component), and when activated, it creates a dampening field on the surface of the mech that reduces PPC damage for a short time. It would either have a cool down/or a cool down and a limited number of uses.

Same principle as the anti-missile system. Only it's for PPCs.
