Also, 13th April "MWO hits 1.6M players" doesn't have anything when you click on it. No source or anything to that claim?
It's good work to compile all that, but it's got some gaps still.

I feel bad for whoever put that together, I can guarantee you that 99% of people don't care.
Not to mention the website doesn't really work.

Most of 2012 and much of 2013 has been locked in forum archives, or deleted.

very interesting. A shame people never seem willing and able to put the same energy into things they feel positively about, lol. Heck of a lot of work for something that appears to be from an angry (former?) customer.

Def possible. Though I am sure most of us have been angry at this game at some point or another. I see it as a resource to offset my CRS (cant remember $hit) when it comes to me thinking "now when did they say that........"

I wonder if this game was fan based asking for donations NOT mass market paid for game, would they get so much flack?

Funny you should say that -- this started as a very positive sort of "cultural history" project for the Word of Lowtax. I've got a whole pile of dates and events that would not be really interesting to the general MWO community.
1 Nov 2011: Anders registers for MWO
27 May 2012: "Word of Lowtax" name invented
8 June 2012: Mittani announces "Word of Lowtax" on MWO forum
5 July 2012: First J4G, "Quincy," signs up
19 July 2012: Duncan Fisher (George) does a piece of Thirdflower's posting
It's a lot of things like when our sub-units formed, internal events/tournaments, when Duncan Fisher became a goon, the development and rollout of our mechlab software projects MFT/Mech Fitting Tool and Mechromancer, the Atlas Laser Rave, infamous Goons Tackle Paul incident, when we were told that it was now bannable to tell people Alt-F4 triggers third person, etc.
Some of that's probably on the public timeline anyhow, but that's mostly how it started. A way to keep track of our own stuff, when various mechs and maps were released, etc. and it eventually grew into a way to collect various articles and screenshots and then became what you see.

This was a driving factor. Originally it was not going to even ever go public and just remain an internal reference tool, but enough people expressed interest. It helps keep all the notes straight. That can be useful for more people than just me.
Anyhow, it's incomplete and I have a pile of stuff that hasn't been entered yet. If you have feedback, images, sources, dates, and whatever else to contribute toss me a PM.

Well, It's certainly interesting, even if I am not OCD (enough) to have kept it going once it became a "hit" piece. But that's because I'm more the type to just chalk it up to learning experience and move along should i be that unhappy.
Still and all, agree with the tone or no, an interesting endeavor.

I bet you wish you'd had the timeline when you said "2PPC1Gauss has only been a problem for a week" a solid six months into its dominance.

It's now very easy to see when 2PPC1Gauss and its associated chassis became popular, when various fixes were attempted, and compare it with what people are claiming. Of course, I see why some people wouldn't like that.
