I am kinda mad.

Every and I mean EVERY time I play a light and I run through the enemy group to pop a UAV or Arty then I can not leave them, I just keep on being rubber banded back into the center of the enemy group. This only happens when I pass a group of ENEMY mech.

This is the reason I started playing missile boats is because no other mech or loadout is working as advertised. Sort out the issues with the game it is not fuctioning as advertised.

What is your ping? Many others myself include dont seem to have this issue. I only get it when I run directly into another mech then end up warping around and away I go.

I typically only experience this when I mainly run into and actually ram a mech, friendly or enemy. As far as I know, this is because of hit collisions. The worse your ping, the worse I've been told it happens.

If it just happens in general, it's called Desync at that point. Desync is where you will rubberband back and forth, as well as have your weapons either not shoot, or delay shoot (without missile bay doors). Keep an eye open when this next happens. If the moving mechs around you are moonwalking, or basically walking in place, you are suffering from Desync.

Desync can happen from collision with another mech, or from unstable ping/packet loss. If your ping fluctuates greatly within a match, that may be more your problem.

I can't be overly too much more helpful without farther information on what is happening.

I have never had this problem at all, between my Locusts and Cicadas no such "warping" occurs just because I run into a group of enemies.
But as Dahzer asks, your ping can be an important factor in if and when this sort of thing occurs. (There are probably other factors as well, but ping is probably the most well-known culprit of similar issues)

As replies above stated... don't run into things, or even clip an enemy Mech or you'll rubberband around that spot for a minute until you've cleared your obstruction. Running through a group of Heavies and Assaults as a Light is epically funny on many levels when you pop a UAV and drop smoke to make them scatter... but watch where you're driving :D Clusters of enemy Mechs have been known to trap a Light in a similar fashion to remove any spotting ability their enemy might have.

1. I'd imagine the OP's issue is strongly related to ping. Rubber banding tends to get worse the higher your ping gets.

2. When you're caught in a rubber-banding loop like that, cut your throttle to 0 for like a full second and then start moving again. It'll give the server and your client a chance to get back on the same page before they need to start calculating your movements again.
