So playing the Nova testing the 5 JJ's IV which we can not unequip nor increase in numbers, I feel they are worse now.

I get slightly more upwards push, but yet I have not found a significant place that I can access that I couldn't before.

The downside is, jump distance is reduced. I could before the change jump across some spaced in the canyon basically skipping the canyon. Now this is not possible anymore. Imho, class IV JJ's feel a bit derp atm. while 6 class V jumpjets, feel crazy, no light needs to be able to jump THAT high, thats totally unnecessary and probably only used to reach some weird borderline explit spaces aynways. Yet with thise 6 Class V, I am also able to just cross the canyon at slim areas. That feels weird, and unnecessary. JJ's should be able to cross some distance in first palce, yet they are more for hopping upwards. Especially for lights that dedicate 0,5t for their JJ,s so much more in relation to their tonnage. That Kit fox I have with 6 JJ's only jumps a few meter further than the TBR with 5 JJ's, but likely 3x or 4x as high. 2x as high woudl totally be enough, for that give the lights 50% more lenght range. And probbaly some lenght raneg for mediums as well. TW with those 4 felt quite okish for the weight it has. Couldn't test how class 2 and 1 turn out since I don't have a mech able to use them. But I still feel the places for JJ's on lights until heavies is not in a good relation to each other.

I really had a bit more hope of what the JJ change will make out of JJ's.
