I am 54 and have played my share of games from the very first home video game (pong) and I remember when the only game you would find in the local pool hall was pinball and it cost a dime for five balls and one thing has always remained true with every game I have gotten into, with practice I got pretty good in any game that held my attention, with all that said it seems that those that have the money to buy all the goodies don't think they have to practice to be good, I would prob beat the crap out of those guys with a mouse and keyboard setup on a substandard laptop............just sayin

:(

I made ZERO effort to clean-up my station before post; sorry I am lazy. My next upgrade wil be to 2 24+ inch monitors. The single 22 inch is making me look like a troglodyte.

I heard you like your post, so I made a screen-cap of your post in my post replying to your post.

Dude! Someone knocked over your computer! :)

And... I'm not gonna take a pic of mine, but there's a few soda bottles near my left arm, a printer buried under a pile of dvds by my right arm, media shelves all around me, a big-*** CRT monitor, and a little clear spot where I can use my mouse and keyboard unobstructed. Really what's in my tower itself is the pride of the setup. I'm scarred for when I'll have to make space for a HOTAS and pedals.

These threads are always fun, they remind me to clean up my desk. Forgive the bad lighting.

I am gonna use the hydra for MWO hopefully if i can get a good config. Its very accurate and i'm not to bad with it in most games but guessing i'll need alot of practice or my mech repair bill will be sky high!

It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done.
Nasty, crusty, old keyboard that's seen more meals than the dinner table. Cheap mouse. 8 year old logitech speakers, 24" samsung monitor ghetto-rigged to the desk with shelving brackets. And a Thrustmaster Hotas X for 'mech games.

Heck, my keyboard is probably older than some of the people on this forum. It's a 23yo PC/AT old-style spring keyboard with daisy-chained adapters to keep it working with newer hardware. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. (well, maybe a Model M)

I'd feel bad if the person working the relatively small 3 screen display in the lower right corner got in a PvP match with the massive screens dude...
