Thank you for the replies.

I bought 3 Stormcrows because my friend said they are the best medium and they are on sale. Am I missing something but I can't seem to take the side torso omni pods off my storm crow C to move to my stormcrow prime? It prompts you to switch omni pods but not take off. So I need to buy another set of stormcrow C torso pods?

Will play my Stormcrows a bit and see how the earnings go. Might end up buying Timberwolves with cash via the ala cart rather then grind for them.

@Koniving
Stormcrows don't have jump jets though the Shadowcat did and it was fast.

@Rouken
My bad totally slipped my mind that Nova had jump jets. Isn't the Nova totally gimped because of Ghost heat?

@Metus Regem
My thoughts exactly, I am going to run a similar Timberwolf with 2 er large lasers, 2 er med lasers 2 LRM15s and a TAG. droping the 20s down to 15s gives you the tag and and extra ammo. Not canon but canon doesn't require a tag to use LRMs.

Probably is a better Timberwolf build that works better for Mechwarrior online but going to start with that.

This actually looks pretty good but isn't 240 and doesn't use the Nova.

@Redshift2k5
Good point. I only have the 3 Stormcrows I just bought last night for Clan mechs so far so using multiples of the same mech would save on grinding.

@Nyuuu
Thats why Timberwolf is my favorite.

@MarsAtlas
Why Mist Lynx over then the Kitfox? Just to have more tonage for other mechs?

@Ice Serpent
I actually think that would be good to start with 3 Stormcrows and a Timberwolf as far as mastering mechs and buying them.

To remove a Omnipod from your mech instead of just replacing it, you have to grab the Onmipod item from the slot on your mech and drag it into your inventory. The omni pod is an object like any weapon/equipment/ammo in the item slots. It doesn't get stripped when you use the strip mech function though.

You are very welcome, and you are more than likely right on the 15's vs 20's, I just like using TRO / cannon load outs when I can, on some of my mechs, I find it makes the game more fun... And I'm a stickler for Lore....

I can only tell you about the one's I own.

Kitfox - This is a difficult mech to run. ECM is a given, but the mech is slow and poorly armored, which is a bad combo. It does carry an impressive payload for 30 tons, but it takes some practice to figure out how to use that strength without succumbing to the armor/speed weakness.

Stormcrow - Instantly loved this mech. Tough, moderately adaptable (only one ballistic slot max, but good balance of missile/energy hardpoints) and swift. Just a solid performer.

Warhawk - Fixed heatsinks in the side torso (same fixed heat sinks on all variants) make building the Warhawk a little difficult. I definitely had to feel this one out for a little while but ultimately came to really enjoy it. Not as durable as the Dire Wolf, but much faster and much more agile. The upside of those fixed heatsinks that limit your builds is that your heat efficiency is always going to be high.

Dire Wolf - HUGE payload. LOW speed. This thing can carry roughly twice the payload of an Atlas, but it moves (even after elited) like an ocean superfreighter. You will do well against heavies and assaults, and poorly against mediums and lights that don't attack you head on (only the stupid ones will)

His original was always the summoner.
He took the TBR because of issues with his summoner (i forgot what it was)

I know, but in MWO, if you can take a Timber Wolf, take a Timber Wolf. So I was trying to suggest a Clan Jade Falcon built for the Clan Wolf totem mech, on top of that her pilot name, has the bloodname Pryde, so I offered a Pryde deck.
