So when it comes down to it the Grasshopper is a laser boat with jump jets and the Black Knight is a laser boat with 5 more tons. I don't think the extra LRM5 or SRM4 makes a difference.

Now, what I would like to know, are IS laser boats any good right now? I haven't touched IS since the Clans arrived and they were pretty lack luster back then.

AFAIK, "laservomit" is all over the place... whether it is Clan (Timberwolf+Stormcrow are #1 at this) or IS (Shadowhawk-2K is popular for that - also still on sale at the moment).

There's a lot less PPC/ERPPC in use (outside of the Dire Wolf) due to the projectile nerf.

I used a straw man argument... which I did not.

Gee because you TOTALLY did not declare that

In any case... whatever. If you want a discussion, you don't have to call things out that are not there to make a scene.

Still waiting for you to follow your own rules there buddy.

Because all I am hearing from you is

Edit:
Since, as noted, you are all still not willing to follow your own rules for the discussion, I am stepping out of the discussion for now.

Having said that - you quote me again on this issue Deathlike and I am reporting it.

You report him if he responds.....lolwut
Why do you get to have final word?

If you had just left your post as "Im done discussing this, if you respond Ill report you" you might have had a leg to stand on, but you didn't so I don't think you have the validity to report him honestly.

Why do you get to have final word?

Because I already offered to drop it

And he declined

With the response that I must have been trolling

At that point I stopped believing he had EVER had any interest in actually discussing it

And someone who refuses to drop it

After being offered TWICE to drop it

Not an

"I win so go away"

but

"We are not going to agree so lets drop it"

Is committing a reportable offence

If he refuses to drop it now that I have TWICE offered to drop it

Yes - I am going to report him

Why?

Are you asking to commit that same offence?

You have yet to actually bring anything to the discussion yourself

So you are sitting in about the same boat

He is

Though, you could report a few posts and perhaps get some moderation.

/sigh

At worst, I should have been accused of using hyperbole.. not a strawman. I have no problem been accused of hyperbole, and I'm guilty of that. I wasn't trying to dispute the matter to invalidate the use or purpose. I simply don't agree with it being a "useful selling point". That's all.

I apologize for the misunderstanding.
