I was just in a match where a team mate continuously blocked me from behind then shot off the arm on my centurian. Not nice considering there were enemy mechs to the front and right as well shooting at me. While he was taking no fire. An obvious synch drop. :)

Yes complaining, but this topic is about putting friendly fire and any components destroyed on the end of match screen.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I go one better, They hit me and I did not do something to deserve it, they get it right back. Tired of people who do not know how to aim.

He was in a Maddog and he knew what he was doing lol. Was not a nooby. Either way this does not happen often, but when it does it would be nice if freindly fire was on the end of match screens. I wasnt even up long enough to get a name.... Like I said was taking fire from the front and right while getting arm blown off from behind and blocked. I can laugh about it now. :)

So you're saying that an experienced pilot just decided to body block you and blow your arm of for sh*ts'n'giggles aye? Yeah that sounds legit.

My money is on Centurion reversing around an obstacle into a mad dog who is in full zoom and therefore cant even see Centurion.

Ever been in a Mad Dog? That cockpit is like Atlas-high and combined with low slung weapons... lets just say that if you are not big, don't run around a Mad Dog's toes, it will likely end in tears.

This is a common occurance, idiots plant themselfs infront of firing lines and then whine when they recieve friendly fire. Or teammates booty hump you from behind so you can't retreat and try to shoot past you. Pew pew.

most cases of friendly can be chalked up to the person taking the friendly fire not paying attention and walking into it.

So no. I don't think you should name and sham anyone at the end of the match when chances are it wasn't their fault in the first place.

My problem with that is then it penilizes the guy who is firing and has some guy walk right in front. Happens all the time.

Had a teammate dash in front of me with no back and took 2 LB-X's to the back and killed him. Felt bad, but I made it up in the end by soloing a few people.

I did it to a direwhale a week ago. He killed me and apoligized. I told him, I'm the one to appoligize since I got infront of him!

Depending on the offence (some FF is unavoidable) I give FF'ers until 7 Mississippi to apologize, or I place one CERLL/ML/LL/GAUSS shot directly into their cockpit.

Petty and vindictive? YEP. Sometimes, though, tough love is the best love.

Yesterday an Atlas-S made the mistake of coming between my target and my Timber wolf.

Usually, I always watwh where are my teammate to avoid friendly fire.

That Atlas did not and placed itselft on my line of fire... Three times...

At the end after he finished my prey, he looked at me and the guy insulted me.

I answered by shooting his remaining arm and one of his legs.
Leaving him after that.

His rage was so relaxing to see. :)

The upside of PPC minimum range - shoot your allies in the back, as many times as you like, without ill effects.

I like the idea mentioned above where you can see the damage done to your mech at the end of the game when you do not die. Putting the players name that caused the damage probably isn't a good idea but being able to see what status your armor is at (in percentages) with the weapon hits would be nice. I think it would be useful (and admittedly kind of frivolous) to determine how well you rolled your armor that match.

As in this thread, once again, intentional ciolations against the griefing rules are discussed or even promoted, I'll close it down.

If you come across someone who intentionally uses friendly fire on you or your teammates, report the player in question to support@mwomercs.com.

In your report include the following informations:
- Name of the offending player
- Type of offense
- Map played
- Date, time and timezone

Additionally you can include the following informations, if you have them:
- Other players involved (witnesses)
- Screenshots
- Links to videos or other material that might be usefull to the GMs for this case

Do not retaliate yourself, as you will make the work for the GMs more difficult, if you violate the rules yourself.
