Hello,
did you change something that can impact FPS ?
Since the last two patches I cannot exceed 27 fps in low res while I was used to have 35 fps in medium.

So
Now I am at the edge of the cliff.
When I started playing this game (open beta) I was between 35 and 50 fps in medium settings
I was improoving fps using user.cfg.
Now I am between 15 and 21 with the lowest possible video settings.
It is not enough to play.
I cannot play anymore.
did you change something ?
How can I have a playable game.
I have the MSI GT70 laptop with Core i7 and GTX680M.
I cannot understand such low performances of MWO.
Let's find a solution or MWO will loose another player

Wow, you should be doing much better than that.
Latest drivers?
Hows your Windows installation? Is your PC filled with crapola software? Did you set it to MSAA by accident? Try reinstalling the game?
Is your laptop clean? Those MSI's get hot anyways, and if it's filled with hair and garbage it's gonna get too hot and throttle.
It's pretty much imposible to pin point the cause without seeing your PC....
My MSI with an i5 and a 5850m ran the game better than that. Which makes me think there is something else up with your computer.

Thank you for your answers.
I cleand my computer (ccleaner, spybot,...) nothing weird.
I ran some test.
My CPU usage is around 15 20%.
The turbosboost does not trigger any more : I am stuck at 2.3 GHz.
I played with userg.cfg
now I have the strong feeling that something is wrong with it.
I cannot remember the low fps started after patches or after I played the Public test...
I'll run a newinstall.
Thank you
oh,
The temperature do not rise above 50°C.
I used to have issue with that (CPU throttling) but now it seems the opposite.

No actualy, infact my game hasnt run better even though I have a 1800-2000 ping all the freakin time. Damn satalite internet ugh! Before I could never make it back to the lobby from a match, the connecting screen would never load me back to mech hanger. Now it runs like a dream! TY PGI <3

Check in the video options if you run Full screen or Full window mode. In the past, MWO sometimes reset the option to full window mode - which is much slower on my PC.
Also for me, the particles option is the biggest performance killer (smoke, debris, dust), I got that set to low, also Post processing. The rest is vey high and I have like 80-120 FPS - using VSYNC of course it is locked to 60.

Sarlic,
I did not succed uninstalling directX11...
most of the link I found said "do at your own risk and imply registry manipulation"
The install only saud that the version I use is newer or same as the one I plan to install and quit.

You're not alone here. I've been getting around 10-20 fps on my desktop since the last patch. It happened once before back in September after a patch, but I was able to resolve it by downloading the latest gpu drivers. This time the drivers fix did nothing to help. The game is pretty much unplayable in this state.
AMD 8-core 4 GHz
NVidia GTX 660 Ti
16 Gig of ram...
Where's the help on this, Russ?
