That's what I figured (and what the answer probably is - it's silly to spend 5+ mil on an engine for a single build unless you're drowning in C-Bills or anticipate getting lots of mileage out of that mech).

That said, I also have Koniving's engine OCD that compels me to put engines of the correct size in the mech (so no 260's in my Centurions, no thank you sir!). Curiously my lights are exempt from this.

That's exactly what it is. I'm saving up for storm crows and the extra 1 or so kph isn't worth the price.

Thomas Marik hit the nail on the head by being put off on 2 ammo dependant systems. Ever see how easy it is to leg those suckers? You know both legs are always full of ammo and they don't get a ton of amour to start with. They are walking ammo boxes.

I only used what I had on hand, so the mech is not an idealized build. The 275 engine is the smallest standard with an internal heatsink, so I kept it around. More speed would be nice, but it would mean spending the big bucks.
