Don't take this out of context, I love MWO and the tension/tactics that no re-spawn gives. I just think we need a chill out, rack up kills and have fun game mode. I think it would do wonders for the new player experience, it would give them the ability to familiarize themselves with the game without the threat of no re-spawn.

I haven't heard anything about Drop Ship mode in a wile, I thought they scrapped it?

CW mode will allow you to respawn 3 times.

And in different mechs, so it makes sense. Fight, get wrecked, eject, take another mech.
