Hi, yesterday I got home and to my surprise, the client didn't ask to patch (after the release of hot fix 1.3.345.1). I was able to enter the game, to the mechlab, buy some mechbays, etc. But when I tried to join a game, it searched forever. Even with a light mech and a queue of 7%, the game never connected. I tried the repair tool, but it didn't work. Finally, I uninstalled the game and downloaded the whole client again. During the installation process, the patcher said it would apply 6 patches. Once it finished, I tried again, but could not enter any match. This are the contents of the file frontend_patcher_log.txt from my home desktop computer:
24/10/2014 03:10:13 p.m. - main - Setting null proxy to False
24/10/2014 03:10:13 p.m. - main - Local frontend version: 184

Note the local frontend version: 184.
Today at work (a different ISP than the one I have at home), I downloaded and installed the client on my work notebook. Note the game was never installed on this notebook before. I noticed the patcher said it would install 7 patches instead of the 6 it installed on my home desktop. I got the game installed, and the launcher changed from "patch" to "play". I didn't try the game at work.
When I got home, I connecter to my wifi network with the notebook with the 7 patches. When I tried to launch the game, it asked to patch, and if I patched, it automatically started downloading the whole 5GB of the client (and it said it would install 6 patches!). I stopped the download and looked at my notebooks frontend_patcher_log.txt. These were its contents:
24/10/2014 02:43:09 p.m. - main - Setting null proxy to False
24/10/2014 02:43:09 p.m. - main - Local frontend version: 185

24/10/2014 02:43:24 p.m. - main - Shutting down on demand!
Note the Local frontend version: 185. I tried again bypassing the router and connecting my notebook with cable to the modem, but got the same result.
I checked with other fellow mechwarriors, and the latest version is 185. The only variable here is the ISP. Something has changed on the server side after this patch that is hampering the ability of the client to detect the latest patch from my current ISP. Is anyone experiencing similar issues??
Thanks in advance
