Is smurfy correct that this variant now has larger missile tubes in its arms? I miss the 2x2 tubes it had as I enjoyed loading 2xSRM6 into it and chain firing them for a 2+2+4+2+2 volley.

PGI recently updated graphics and tube count on Trebs. Counting 20 tubes on most launchers now..

Gauss+ER PPC or AC20+2 ML are the way to go with 7K,missiles are pretty meh in it,since trebs arms get blown off very easily.

Exactly. Also those weapon combos (high alpha, long cycle) are good for torso twisting, which is essential for 7K.
7K's Arms make perfect shields , the only thing that can protect a very vulnerable CT on a jumpless Treb.

I understand your pain!
For pain relief i recommend The Cicada X-5 , 4 energy hardpoints, 2 missile harpoints with 2 tubes each:

..or Commando 1B with one 2-tube missile CT hardpoint + 3 energy in arms

Meh I don't do that PPFLD srs bznz rubbish. I like to pilot mechs that are entertaining and the chain fired SRMs were really cute and added to the fun factor.

I used to run this build http://mwo.smurfy-ne...cfcf3d775200237 and had a surprising amount of success with it.

Thanks for that heads up about the X5 and the COM-1B. Might have a play with them :)

With the quirks list posted, the 7K is getting buffs to the PPC and AC5. The question then is, which is better: PPC/2xAC5, 2xPPC/AC5, or none of the above? To me it looks like 2xPPC is going to run fairly hot (especially if you use the PPC cooldown module as well) and with the cooldown reduction 2xAC5 is going to run short on ammo.

...from my experience with both chassis (both my favorite meds), PPC/AC5 is perfect for Shadowhawk while TBT-7K is the best platform for ERPPC/GAUSS.
Treb is my high-alpha-torso-twister while Shad is my stay-on-target-dakka-jumper.
I wish the 7K got bonus for ERPPC instead of PPC.
