The Stormcrow is my favorite mech in the game by a wide margin.
It is extremely quick and capable of marching up cliffs with relative ease. Being a clan mech it is very versatile. I bought the PRIME but supplemented some lasers with a 6SRM and 15LRM pack with 5 ER MLs, I love it.
It is the one mech besides maybe my Jenner I will never sell.
Stormcrow? What Should I Know?

I played them for a while stock, then...
Prime had the large lasers downgraded to more ERMLs and some streaks added in D torsos. Might want to use normal SRMs instead but then I end up with unused weight? And it's kind of hot so having the slow-firing but reliable streaks is nice.
D has its LRMs moved to the torso mounts where they actually work a lot better (and look a lot less stupid), and got prime arms with small lasers instead of the SRM2s. Kept the NARC.
The ballistic one (C? S?) replaced the LB10X with a UAC5 and upgraded one of the MPLs to another LPL.

So ... after reading this thread I just spent 90% of my cbills getting 3 Stormcrow variants
... I hope it lives up to expectations
(I also now need to build my cbill reserves back up
)

I bought mine a la carte awhile ago and is still my favourite and most utilised mech now. I've played around with a number of builds...all were fun. My Prime currently sports 3 ERML and a UAC20. Other variants carry SRMs and ERML or ERLL
My KDR has risen substantially due to these birds and when I'm not having a bad run due to feeling derp or RL distractions, I can regularly take out highest match score in pugs.

I bought mine al a carte when they were first announced and the fire power they can mount with that speed is redicoulus. I have two versions of the Prime I use. The first Prime uses D side torsos and has an SRM6 in each one. The second Prime really blows things out of the water. It runs the C side torsos and an ERPPC in each one, I replaced the ERML in the head for a ERLL and replaced the ERLLs in each arm with a ERML. I haven't experimented with the ballistic hard point, but I want to.

I'm using prime with 2 ER PPC in side torsos, TAG for cbills farming in head and 4 ERML in arms so far it works very nicely but i'm still bit handicaped by not having cash to buy other two variants to get full skill bonuses.

So why in the world are the clan engines on these nerfed ? A 330 engine should have 3 built in heatsink slots. However the 330 on the stormcrow has NO built in engine slots. WTF ?!?
That is not right.
