When? When will we see the remaining Invasion Clans? I am pretty sure it will be after CW comes but how much longer? Next year? 2 years? Never?

Well, as far as invasion clans, I think we're only missing Steel Viper and Nova Cat. I wouldn't expect to see non-invasion clans for a while.

On a side note...
Do the Clans wind up fighting each other at the start of the invasion?

I'm wondering if there will be some Clan versus Clan matches in CW.

I'm still waiting for my alt's Clan Wolverine emblem.

I'd even settle for a Minnesota Tribe badge, though I'd prefer the straight-up Clan Wolverine insignia.

I believe they stated that IS vs IS and Clan vs Clan is taking a back seat to getting CW released in its Clan vs IS state and then those will be among the refinements they add over time.

I look forward to some Clan vs Clan matchups--I look forward to some Zellbrigen matches.

The question that needs to be asked:

Why does the cheaper Inner Sphere pack get 6 faction packs, while the more expensive clan package only gets 4?!

They quickly made the IS pack to meet the demands of the spoiled brats loyal paying customers that wanted a free King Crab, yet they went above and beyond to give them 50% more faction content than the suckers stoic clan players that bought the more expensive package.

Also the Inner Sphere pack should have a Federated Commonwealth faction pack.

I believe you are mistaken.

"Next, the way Merc Units, Lone Wolves, Clan Units and Dagger Star players interact with this system. These players can choose to align themselves to a Faction for a specified amount of time. For example, a Merc Unit selects a [1] month alignment to House Steiner. For the next month, this Merc Unit can only participate in combat either defending Steiner territories or attacking in the name of Steiner in neighboring Faction territories. The Merc Unit can (like anyone in the game) participate in the Clan/IS border invasion conflicts. Lone Wolf players, Clan Units and Dagger Star players behave the exact same with with the exception that Clan Units and Dagger Star players will be aligning themselves with a Clan."

Bolded the important part. This seems to imply that there will still be two distinct kinds of conflict, IS vs Clan and IS or Clan vs same.

This was taken from the latest CW update from Russ.

But, yes. Nova Cats, Diamond Sharks, and Steel Viper (to a far lesser degree) were in 3051. I am seriously hoping PGI lets us in sooner than that, however.

I could be mistaken here, but I'm pretty sure Diamond Shark only showed up on Tukayyid to give ComStar a free victory. At least Steel Viper took a few worlds.

I believe they had a few forces that actually saw combat, but I want to say it was only a binary or trinary's worth. Could be totally mistaken as I generally do not/did not pay them much attention.

Frankly, I am surprised no one has taken up the mantel of Steel Vipers in MWO. I think someone tried, but then set it back down and walked away slowly. Just leaves... uh... Us. (well, us, being Alpha (International) and the Dragon Cat Cluster.

I actually like the Nova Cats and fully support the initiative to get them put in the game.

Well, I think Ulric activated Nova Cat and Steel Viper to hinder Smoke Jaguar and Jade Falcon and then failed to activate Diamond Shark in time to help Ghost Bear. I could be mistaken on which clans did what, but I'm pretty sure thats what happened.

At any rate, that would give you the Clan in fighting you were asking about Koniving.

Because there is only four active clans vs six nations... perhaps.... you know.

Free World's League was about as active in the war as Diamond Shark. Oh wait, Diamond Shark actually saw combat, didn't they?

Nova Cat and Steel Viper were also part of the invasion. Wave 2 should include faction packs of all 7 invading clans.

The other clans really got involved after wolf offered the harvest trials to allow units from other clans to fight for an open spot in the wolf order of battle.

Waiting for my hells horse before I can battle for a clan faction.
