Still I'd like to see a role warfare where the player brings his favourite weightclass because he can be a usefull asset to the team and not because the game gives him better rewards.

If anyone complains about lights getting more c-bills for TAG and NARC assists/kills, they should try running a simple Storm Crow or Mad Dog LRM boat with tag. The rewards end up being just as high, 200-400k with a win, 100-250k with a loss. That is with premium time, but no hero mechs.

I gave up on role warfare lights because they are more boom/bust.

You can make brawler bonuses apply to certain weapons only such as SRMs/LBX/AC20/ML/SL for the bigger mech.

I mean, I really like and support the idea behind Rewards 2.0, but it shouldn't punish some players.

It will be hard to balance I fear, especially it only took the people 2-3 days to exploit the system already.

Reward 1.0 punished players who brought smaller mechs and could not rack up big damage or kills. Rewards 2.0 is good step in the right direction for making it possible to earn in smaller mechs without having to rack up big damage, kills, or assists.

Yes, and that is a very good thing and I really like that PGI went this way! But still why should I put TAG and NARC into every mech just to get the old level of CBills/XP back?
