this cropped up a few patches ago and still continues.

you get lock, the beep goes on continuously and the lock never completes. you have to drop lock and try again.

Sometimes it can happen multiple times in a row on the same target.

not that targets are moving out/in of cover or anything. they can be in the wide open with nothing else around and you just get "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep"

Can we get a response to this, is this being worked on? I don't hear a lot of people talking about it, but it is constant for me, half the time I lock a mech I have to turn away, release lock and lock again.

I've found it usually happens when there is a UAV providing the lock despite ECM coverage. Perhaps it is working as intended? If so that is fine but I would like to know one way or the other.

'Mechs sighted by a UAV but still under ECM cover indeed take a very long time to get a lock on (50% longer I think). UAVs don't deactivate ECM, they just circumvent it.
