LOL.....using "logic" and "nerf" in the same sentence. There should be some kind of achievement for that.

For what it's worth, there is NO logic behind it. Generally speaking, it seems that if a weapon system has either caused significant damage (or outright killed) one of the Developers, especially Paul, it gets the treatment.

I prefer to think of it as a "football bat" or a "hockey racquet" as opposed to a Nerf Bat. A Nerf Bat implies that there is some kind of sense to what's being done....which isn't the case.
