"The Black Mad Cat" is a Battletech tribute to Edgar Allan Poe's classic tale, "The Black Cat".
This version of the story was written by D.G.Martin, a Battletech fan with encyclopedic knowledge of the IP, as well as a talented writer, collaborator, and friend.
The music and sound design was created by Jon Steadman who is a talented musician, rocker and composer from the UK who also happens to be a rather fine chap. He also is a gem to work with.
This amazing image which accompanies this clip was created by B.B. Wolfe / aka Laura Shaw. The YouTube version of this performance will feature more of her work. BB is a talented artist, VO actor, and gamer who is going to be HUGE someday... mark my words.
I do these productions solely for the enjoyment of fans of the Battletech and MechwarriorOnline game franchises and for the personal fans of my VO work. All of the artists involved are compensated to the best of my ability for their contributions and this is presented as a labor of love to the Battletech and Mechwarrior Online community.
