This pertains to the "Chassis Challenge" going on this weekend..
So, I was in a game and connection to the server was lost. I waited a few minutes and tried playing again, this time multiple people disconnected but the few who didnt had fairly large scores from killing disconnected pilots.
With the current challenge going on I think PGI should wait and reset this event, as some pilots are having games they normally would never achieve. Personal opinion but I would love to hear from the community.

Complete reset is a bad idea. I'm sure they would have the ability to remove scores during the affected period, if not immediately then after the event has completed.

I agree. This is going to be a REAL problem if it continues... I have seen people (on teamspeak together noless) dropping and the entire game crashed for most, and a select one or 2 were left online...
If it is intended that a select few people are to take part in the tournament then you can count on my letting everyone know about this problem of yours...
It is not about life being fair or not... it is about a service being denied to all but a select few...

Re-do the whole tourney next weekend after you fix the servers.
Maybe give everyone a consolation prize of a handful of MC for wasting our time XD
I reckon the whole point of the tournament is to do some data-farming on what order to rank the mechs for the upcomming adjustments to perks, and the server stability issues are going to grossly skew those numbers.

Being the the only person left in a game when everyone else is out is really going to ruin the ladder. 12 free mechs to kill and pad damage for points, you wont be able to beat that in any normal situation.

If not a complete reset I would agree that they should do a soft reset from when this started. I had a few games so far that people in that game ended up on the Top 15 most likely from this issue...

I agree that this needs a full reset... Somebody is either pinging out others for an unfair advantage or the game is having real server issues. Problem is both scenarios people are having an unfair advantage over others. Every match I have played results in me getting disconnected and not being able to rejoin. While there seems to strangely; always, be one person left that mops up. This problem has never been an issue for me until today when the event started.

I've been dropped from several great games today and it's still going on as of my last match. Worst of all your stats from dropped matches aren't counting for the tourney. I wanted to punch a puppy when I lost a 6kb match to PGI's servers needing their diaper changed.
