When the Cent-AH sale was going on, I offered to buy a friend a package, and would have offered the same to another friend but he was traveling.

$7 of MC for a Cent-AH and enough MC to buy 8 'mech bays - or more if you wait until they are on sale - struck me as a pretty good bargain!

$7 seems to be a very reasonable "starter" price for someone trying out a F2P game.

To keep the rest of the game's pricing the same, you could limit each player to one starter package per account, and depending on the content of the starter packages, you could allow a player to buy a second (or third) starter package at an increased cost.

I think there should be a "starter" package for each weight class, therefore, if a player wants to play this game as an Assault they can get themselves an assault, light? a light then.....

Kinda like how in MMOs, you get to pick your class.......in this game, its quite literally the same basic idea...
