I think it would be awesome if we could play with an xbox or playstation controller. The reason being, personally I like controllers for shooters. Not many will agree with me or even care but i think it is very possible to make it work and effectively. It may not work well with the UI but I don't care about that I just want base gameplay to work. Anybody agree with me or even think its worth a shot?

Am I missing something? Joystick support is already there... It is crap but it's there.
