I dont know them by variant per se, but the prime left arm (2E), the missle left torso, ALWAYs use the CT laser variants (A/C) unless you are grinding or plan on only havng 3 Missle weapons. And the right arm just depends on weather you want 2 missle 3 energy, or 1 missle 4 energy. Because you get to choose 1 E, or 1 M, hardpoint.

At first i thought this was a troll topic.

The answer is fairly simple: Those with hardpoints. :P

Except the ballistic one, the only Clan ballistic that would be worth using is a CUAC5 and then you'd have no ammo (no tonnage). LB2 feels way to weak imo and UAC2 is a bit meh when you could use Pulses in that arm. Or SRMs.

Agreed. It seems so under powered IMO. However, one could pull off the B variant using the C Variant pods with the Prime variant pods, (the Small Pulse is the only accurate placement) but only in this way:

C-SRM 4 LT, C-SRM 6 RA, ER Lg Laser LA, and Small Pulse CT with a ton and half ammo C-SRM.

D variant is also simple as well. 4 Medium Pulse Lasers:

C MPL RA, 2 C MPL LA, and C MPL CT.

Only drawback to this one is the heat generation, which I believe won't be much of a problem with the forthcoming Clan Quirks. Hopefully, Russ and the gang wil take this into consideration when they create the quirks, and then watch your caboose, Moose.

Useable in pug drops. Unusable in comp drops. Unless there is some sort of tonnage restriction where its about all you could take.

Tried rolling my Fenris last night got a way to go battles are pretty painful while in basic skills.

Weapon load out rather disappointing but using a 360 XL engine your tonnage for pod space is toast. While working on clan I try not to swap pods and such stick to stock layout just redo weapon loads as needed, keeps each unique while leveling.

Prime rather un-exciting right now have SRM6 and 2 Medium Pulses along with AMS we shall see so far not bad.

Tried making the A variant work with the LBX but 1 one of ammo is not enough and your too limited on tonnage. Dumped the gun and put 2 ER LLs in gun arm is a shield

C variant Artemis on LRM5's uggggg what a waste. Tried LRM5 but with not getting assists using LRM5 anymore rather sucky for earning anything. think I will swap to just 1 bigger launcher and upgrade laser. Least bigger launcher will allow me to use that Art better and turn my arms into shields.

We shall see hope once it gets more skills starts to shine more but so far its looking to be my least enjoyed clan mech.

The CAC2 or 2X is to provide something for ranged combat.

CERLL / CERPPC would be much better options.
