Winning Trial of Blood Right deuls. 1 CERLL, 1CERML, 1 SSRM4, 1CSSRM6. Slapped the fight out of every other light mech in the game.

The Adder is a good mech. I called mine Goomba because it looks a little like the mushrooms from Super Mario Bros. I switch weapon sets to keep it interesting. Lpls or erppcs for one arm and sometimes missiles sometimes mpls in torsos. I leave one arm free to twist away from death and shield my Goomba.

My own experience with the Adder is that it's kind of the antithesis of the Cicada. It's a medium 'mech masquerading as a light 'mech. If you play it as a really fragile medium brawler (à la a Blackjack with less armour) I've found that it really finds its niche with me.
I'm not going to claim it's the best mech. I don't know if I would even call it a good one. But I have a strong emotional attachment to the little buggers, having played them much of the way through MW4Mercs. I'm comfortable with their quirks now, and the ability to mount the big weapons on a light chassis makes me nervous to face them come CW. Put together a lance with a Mist Lynx for spotting and three Adders mounting LRM40s, and you've just dedicated 135 tons for a lance that can obliterate assault mechs that are out in the open.

I like the the Adder because it can take quite a punch and still deliver quite a lot of damage. With My Franken-Adder I'm quite good at support, doing something like 400-600 damage in a good match and surviving it quite often.
It might be, because I get reckless, my Kitfox with nearly identical weapons, plus ECM and AMS doesn't live quite as long...

One important point, as I'm also considering the ADDler, is that its the only light that can hold a AC/LBX20/guass

Ive run the 2erLL, 2erSL and have done well.
Looking for a Wub Adder to use next.
Those torso lasers are very nice for ridgehumping...likely the only thing the Adder is good at.

I have been noticing sub 200 damage matches with the Adder Prime time and time again. The PPC nerfs are just way too much, and the flamer is useless.
I get a lot more damage/points with a dual ERLL Kit Fox.

My best build for the adder is 2CERLL, 2CERML. The larges are in the torso so that I can pop snipe. You can alpha 2-3 times in a row without overheating in it, which is plenty considering the fact that you pretty much need to hit and run with an adder. Flat out brawling tends not to end well. This is the build I won the most recent chassis tournament with.

Firepower 48.70
Max sustained DPS 5.97
Sustained DPS of almost 6 is something most Assaults can't break. Sadly it has not that much ammo, but hell, it's as big as an Atlas' right fist.
Will be my next C-Bill investment after I grinded through the Mediums
